Having her say yes, but when you're on your way to wherever you're supposed to meet her the next day you get hit by a car that ran up onto the sidewalk because the driver was drunk. You wake up in the hospital with serious injuries that will limit your ability to walk for the rest of your life. After a month you're finally allowed to go home, but you've become dependent on drugs to keep the pain under control and no matter how hard you try you can never kick the habit. For a few years you just spiral further and further downward until you pretty much hate your entire life. Then one day, a friend helps you get on the road to recovery. It's not an easy process but you eventually manage to clean your life up. On the one year anniversary of kicking the drugs for good, you head out to the restaurant where you were originally supposed to meet that girl all those years ago, not that you really remember that anymore. But as fate would have it, you get by a car yet again, and when you wake up in the hospital the first thought in your mind is that it's all happening again. And then someone informs you that the car was being driven by the girl you once asked out. And that girl's name was Albert Einstein. And then you realize that it was all a drug induced fever dream that you will never be free from.
