Far too much oil, but the base ingredients seem good. I've never liked oil on vegetables, never understood it. It's like shredding a brick of cheese onto some pasta -- just why?

It wasn't too much oil trust me, about a 2 tsp tossed with some kosher salt for a whole head of brocoli. Usually keep it pretty simple. Bit of butter, fresh cracked pepper, salt (kosher preferably), lemon juice/wedges.
