The economy is not booming. It wasnt booming under Trump and it wasnt booming under Obama. The reason that jobs are up is because wages are down and the cost of living is just fucking disgusting. You cant pay rent unless you get a night job at a gas station or something. Thats NOT a reflection of a good economy and neither is the stock market. If the people are struggling, then the economy sucks. If people are doing alright, then its a good economy. Im sick of people using that metric to claim that our economy is strong.

Bush left a wartime economy for Obama to fix, but what did he do? TWO Wall Street bailouts and nothing for us. Everyone loves to forget about that, but thats what occupy Wall Street was about. Then we saw the same thing with Trump. Take care of the bankers and CEOs. Did rent go down? Did student loans and medical loans get forgiven? Nope.

Our economy is and will remain bad until the average working citizen can breathe and SAVE money. The cost of living is basically figured out to rise every time you get ahead, so thats basically issue 1, 2, and 3.

Why were people fighting to have student debts forgiven if the economy was good? They didnt have the money to pay for anything. Whatever shitty job they got didnt pay enough to scratch their debts, with the rising rent costs.

We had a housing crisis, an economic crisis, and a medical crisis, and he struck out on all three.

You saw Trump deny and downplay Covid-19, and the price American citizens paid for the convenience of the rich.

You had no issue with any of this. Yet you expect us to believe that 1/6 was your change of heart?

We do not need, nor want, to work with people like you. You haven't seen the light, you just want all the things you supported to be forgotten.

As someone who is very much on the left in my country and has seen this shit show you call politics with Trump over the last 4 years, almost hoping it would destroy right wing politics (even though I know a good opposition is needed) for a while, mostly because some of our far right politicians has almost started mimicking Trump and he has basically legitimized it .....

Thanks, guys. Sometimes we have to make a mistake to learn, but I think TCs refusal of unity is worse than me trusting a charlatan one time. Lesson learned, though. We arent going to be a country that represents 100% of the population when people are too immature to listen to others.
