My TV is a Hisense, a Chinese brand, my computer is an iPad, made in China, my Series X was made in China IIRC

Well, I know the 360(probably even the one) was made in mexico, as were both of our Samsung TVs and an older Sanyo one. Pre-built HP desktops were, and I know DVDs are likely to be printed there as well.

You'd be surprised at how many random electronics are actually made in Mexico if you look, though I think Malaysia or another was starting to crop up.

While TC's proposal might be crazy, this isn't really a valid counter-argument. He's not saying "let's stop using the things that aren't made in the US", he's saying "let's make those things in the US instead". There are reasons that's not practical, absolutely - but TC isn't proposing outright not using things that currently are not made in the US.

TC is trolling everyone. Even a juvenile can understand how shutting us off from literally 95%+ if developed products would fuck the USA over.

Sure, we can build factories and all, but that'll still take years; so that's years with us having outdated tech.

Edit: there also no good reason, at all to embargo every other country when most if them are already doing that to us thanks to our craptastic handling of Covid.
