you remove the PVP and you remove half the fun. i was never a fan of doing much PVP, but the threat of some jackass invading made farming interesting.

major thing i wish they'd fix is the hit box bullshit.

There already are difficulty modes

You can get 10 flasks and increased healing

I don't understand the boner for the invasions thing.

I liked playing online because I liked reading all the notes people would leave. It's really cute and fun.

I think I got invaded randomly once after a boss fight and I had 50k souls and I died. Not really that fun, imo.

invasions just made the game more toxic

people didnt play dark souls for the janky pvp. its first and foremost an action/adventure platformer.

Removing fall damage would literally remove large parts of the game. Blighttown would be easily skipped within like 5 seconds of entering it. Like, sure you can already speedrun it and do some nice drop downs, but not all the fucking way to the bottom in one jump.

Swimming would either be really pointless or really shitty if they try to force stuff like underwater combat into it which no one ever likes in any game ever.

Invasions... eh. I hate them too, but just stay hollow, play offline, or accept the risk if you want to summon.

Dark Souls games are fun and all but it doesn't mean they're perfect.

Nah thats not gatekeeping and nobody thinks the games are absolutely perfect, you even had someone in this topic talk about fixing hitboxes. What I hate is people who want to fundamentally change the game -- dark souls with no invasions isn't dark souls.

That seems dumb. I played the game getting invaded as few times as possible and it was still one of the best games I've played.

I really don't see how this is a fundamental aspect of the gameplay.

I think it's mostly just players enjoying being dicks.

I've just made it to Blighttown (or at least right before it, I keep dying trying to actually get there) and I've never reverse hollowed. Being invaded sounds really stressful. No thanks.

I think Bloodborne did invasions the best, where you mostly only get invaded when you summoned help, and you can also kill the invasion summoner.
