Civil War, Batman v Superman, all those movies and comics that are like "Well what about the destruction caused by heroes?"

Well, what about them? Would you rather they just stay home, watch some Netflix or somethin while the villains bust up your city?
"You killed my son"
No, lady. Your son died as collateral damage in a fight that was being fought to literally save the planet

Because power structures always seek to have someone take the blame and individuals don't care about logic when grieving. It's one of several reasons why superheroes wouldn't actually work in reality.

whats worse is all the "i cant kill them! that will make me just as bad as them!".

i'm sure superman isn't actively trying to destroy metropolis, his people are just that strong.

Batman has his whole no killing rule. The public would see him as a bad guy if he even kills one of them, it's not his fault they keep escaping from Arkham. Where is their blame?

Batman's villains start out as bad people who kill or hurt regardless and superman stops his villains from completely wiping out cities worth of people at least, potentially the whole world..

Dragonball earth has cities that are like 5 square miles spread apart by 1000 miles of desert. The city where bulma lives is like the most advanced on and it's the size of a medium town on long island. And Goku didn't do much for those cities when cell and Buu arrived besides watch everybody die.

Its something many writers were at the time didn't really acknowledge, know or care about. Even comicbooks are guilty of it. The day is saved but if the city and incalculable lives were lost in the process.....you shouldn't be celebrating. Hell none of them aside from maybe Tony stark are even mentioned in assisting with restoration efforts.

Everyone? Poof. Gone. Until the world needs saving again and it repeats.

Goku and his team had the benefit of y'know, actively being sought out for a fight. So they had leverage to go where they wanted. Also the Dragon Balls render this entire thing irrelevant lol

We just had a summer prostesting law enforcement abuse and you can't see the issue? People see damage and death, and assume negligence was part of why it happened, or that someone abused power they can't fight back against.

B: TAS even had an episode about this where a bunch of the super villains capture him and put him on trial, making a new DA that believes Batman is an out of control vigilante defend hin

you really can't put too much thought into these movies. they fall apart fucking easy if you do. it's just meant to make a shit ton of money, it's not meant to be all deep and shit.

I think the show The Boys summarizes it better, why should a handful of individuals be responsible for every disaster when we have cops, military, emergency response
