Love a game with a good base building aspects to it. I really loved Ni No Kuni 2 for this as it actually gave you a reason to want to do some of the more boring side quests because it all contributed new residents to your new kingdom you were built.

I really loved Assassins Creed 3 and Saints Row 3 for there base building aspects as well although they were less indepth than NNK 2.

So just curious what recent games (say last 5 years) that have decent base building aspects. Just to avoid confusion not including things like Command and Conquer etc as that's the core gameplay is building bases etc so just where the base side is a side aspect of the game. Hopefully that makes sense?
