I haven't really done any online dating since ghosting has become a thing, so thankfully I haven't experienced it. I agree that it's a shitty thing to do. I have dealt with flaky women before though. Better to just move on, in either case. Find someone that doesn't waste your time.

And just so you know, cursing is allowed on the site. There's a built in censor for those that want to use it. It will only get you in trouble if you do things that will bypass the filter.

and how the hell does 'ghosting' prevent that or make things better exactly? Someone infuriated at the ghoster can also do a double-text to express said anger.

Ghosting is even worse because it's basically just putting the other person in the dark forever. How'd you like it if you talk to someone politely and the person just keeps ignoring you? Somehow this immature behavior is ok when it's on text?

only immature people ghost. If you don't want to continue a convo, just leave a 1-word message or something. No need to pretend like you didnt see the damn message and suddenly forgot about the existence of the person you're talklng to.

That's how horrible it is. Because you're essentially tellling the person, 'your existence is not even worth acknowledging'

Yeah its bad. I would so much rather have someone be honest and upfront with me about something than just... not even respond.
