When you wear boxer shorts, your D is flailing and rubbing against your legs all day. Boxers fail to hide your erections and cause a visible and embarrassing tent to pop up in your pants, whereas briefs (or boxer briefs) keep the erection concealed. Seems like boxers are only a decent idea if you don't have much down there, which circumvents the need for support and ensures that visible erections won't be a problem at all. Me and you have very different definitions of large. Also boxer briefs are usable verses tighty whites. Especially the long leg sports kinds with extra room.
