the incels have been left behind by the rest of the internet so they've gotten more and more desperate for attention / acceptance as the years have gone on. Ofc most of them mistake bad attention for good attention so they're usually spurred on to greater and greater deeds of shittiness to get it.

It was just busier. Nowadays it's hard to get a lot of posts in your topic unless it's about politics or CE drama or something like that.

Honestly I kind of feel like the bullying/harassment isn't necessarily worse than/as bad as it was back then. At least in general, can't really speak to what others experience especially behind closed doors, as it were. Back then it felt like everything was predicated on that "for the lulz" mindset, which was a culture excusing/encouraging pretty much anything, no matter how sociopathic, as long as it was interesting. I feel like I don't really see that mindset so much anymore. Now nothing is interesting the way it was back then, and everybody's grown bitter and cynical.

It's not THAT different, but I suppose it's different in some ways. Politics seems a lot more important, these days, although that's mostly Trump. There's also the fascination with girls on things like OF and stuff along those lines. The obsession with the girls, simping for them, criticising others who simp for them, and so on. Another thing, ten years ago people didn't neccesarily post an entire topic telling you someone was WARNED, or BANNED, or SUSPENDED. Of course, if a regular had something happen, they might've gotten a topic, but that was about it. These days, fourth tier posters who have had something minor like a warning happen, usually get a related topic within the hour. There is more talk these days of being married, having children and such, because people are older.

In many ways, though, this board is barely different to 2011. Although, in 2011, most of the regulars were different, obviously.

This has not changed. Back then they were called White Knights and they were a lot worst than they are now.

The mods were stricter for sure. Now they're more relaxed than ever. You can get away with a lot more, which is really funny.

I was merely making an observation where I'm agreeing with her and adding it with a statement, my dude.

When you have several INCELS (or whatever they call themselves) constantly talking about you at this board or on another site, spreading/leaking your personal photos around without your explicit consent, and shitting up your topics by derailing them then you're bound to get fed up eventually.

I get why they would leave, but why even stick around at that point? Is being harrased on the regular worth the headache? Not sure why I had to explain this to YOU since nobody was even talking to you.
