While charizard and squirtle are relegated to sharing it with pokemon trainer? Yet these new pokemon who actually get to be fighters all by themselves what the fuck.

Because having a character that's actually the Pokmon trainer main character from Red/Green/FireRed/LeafGreen is cool, and having them wield all three starters is also cool.

Honestly, it just makes Pokemon Trainer a much more versatile character, so if I played that character I wouldn't really complain about it.

Pokemon Trainer is one of the coolest/best characters in the game. I don't really see why Charizard sharing a slot with Squirtle is a bad thing at all tbh.

I'm actually disappointed that Charizard got removed and folded back in to PT. Solo Charizard with his rock smash was way better than his PT counterpart.

That's how PT was back in Barwl. I'm guessing the other pokemon make more sense as solo fighters?
