Yesterday, I was trying to get a PocketStation off Yahoo Auctions.



It came with 3 PS1 memory cards and 1 PS2 memory card, complete with cases, box, packaging, stickers, and even strap for the PocketStation. I stayed up until around 5 AM in a sort of "bidding war", except it was more like, I kept getting automatically outbid because someone else put a much higher bid. Every time I tried to increase the price by $5, I would immediately be outbid. It was fine around $30, which is what I was hoping to get, but around $60, I gave up. For all I knew, someone else put their max bid at $100 or something. A part of me kinda wishes I kept trying, since I doubt I'll get something this good just for trying to get a PocketStation again.

And then there was this N64.



Complete with box, manuals and all that good stuff. Unfortunately, I sort of forgot about this auction, and it ended. $95 isn't too bad for an N64 CIB in that kind of condition.

Right now, I'm looking at this Wii U.



Comes with a handful of meh games like Call of Duty Black Ops II, Lego Movie, Lego City, Lego Jurassic World, but it actually has some good ones too, like Mario Kart 8, Mario 3D World, Splatoon, and Super Mario Maker. Combined with being the 32GB model, and pretty decent condition for both the system and box, that's not too bad. It's at $80, and the max bid I put down is $100. I doubt I'll win that one, though.

I just want to expand my retro collection. ;_; If I don't win this one, I'll just give up. (Wii U isn't really retro, but still...)

Goddamnit. I would have really liked that one, too. $130 is a bit steep, but probably would have been worth it...
