Especially if there is a lot of background noise, and even more so during this pandemic due to the muffled voices that come with wearing a mask.

I have told girls before that I don't mean to get in their personal space, and all of them have been fine with it because I am part deaf.

I don't technically have a hearing problem, but sometimes when there's a lot of noises occurring uh at the same time, I'll hear 'em as one big jumble. Uh, again it's not that I can't hear, uh because that's false.
