There was nothing hard to understand about the voices for me, but that is also what you have subtitles for, if it really is such an issue for you. Yeah the english dub in 8 was awesome. Pretty weird, but so is the rest of the game/series. The regular battles were really becoming these huge slogs and the game was starting to be a big PITA. Unfortunately the regular difficulty is too easy, and you can't put the challenges back on once taken off.
