Why are people having a meltdown over this movie? I came out of it expecting most other people to think it was rad, but I have people saying that Chris Pine coming back to life made no sense and picking flaws like how Diana flew from one country to another without stopping to fuel.

if you dont like a movie, it isnt that deep. Fine. I dont like most movies. But when your criticisms boil down to you needing a scene of them stopping to fuel, or land in a foreign country, Im going to think you came into the movie wanting to find something to fight over.

it's a movie where superpowers and people being wished back to life or killed by wishes and people turning into fuckin cheetas and shit

and they have a problem...with someone flying a plane.

mind you, from someone who is best known for having a completely invisible airplane.

remember the time in Indiana Jones where before he got on the flight with the famous red line over the map there was over 5 months of idle time while he updated his passport?

From what little I've heard there's quite a lot wrong with he movie, even DC fans aren't liking it much.

Nah ww84 was light years better. Plus not only was the plane invisible, there was massive destabilization in the region so no one cared.

When reading or watching anything fantasy related, I try not to investigate too deeply, and just enjoy it for what it is.

Ah yes, it's good when a classic villain (Maxwell Lord, the Cheetah) is allowed to go back to normal like they did nothing wrong.

This is such a weirdly specific and bizarre complaint of a film. Just because you didnt see consequences doesnt mean there wouldnt be any. Honestly both villains in the film were in many ways victims of the evil god or whatever the fuck that possessed them

I mean Pedro Pascal basically spends the majority of the film breaking down and dying because he cant stop what is happening, and then realizes hes neglected the only thing that actually matters to him

Is it really a more satisfying film to you just to see some generic scene of them in a jail cell?

Nobody even died onscreen aside from that woman who had a heart attack and presumably came back to life from the wish. I don't think the tone of the film necessitated the villains dying (idk if any film really requires that tbh).
