Board 8 > Did anybody else play Mortal Shell?

I was pretty excited for it before release, but held off because of the middling reception. Got it in yesterday after it was on sale on Amazon.

After about 2 hours, it seems less middling an more...bad? It doesn't feel good, and even on PS5 the load times are absolutely dreadful, approaching vanilla Bloodborne after deaths. Item system seems really lame, too. I guess I'm curious if it picks up in a meaningful way.

Not to mention it turns my PS5 into a jet engine for some reason, not sure what's up with that. It has literally never made a sound no matter what I was playing before, not to mention everyonce once in a while the edge of the screen will just turn into a flickering mess, it looks like the inside of my TV has caught fire and it's starting to bleed out of the edge of the screen.
