I just cant fathom being a Republican and putting my head on my MyPillow at night and being able to sleep peacefully. News flash: people can want to stop the spread of a deadly virus while also wanting small businesses to succeed.

this is a better way of expressing my opinion. Like, California, theres a lot of red tape for labor. Step dad wanted to move his roofing company from Arizona over but theres a lot of legal shit.

but even he admits the red tape is for documentation and shit he just doesnt like. Its not like they are actually trying to fuck him over.

me personally, I see people at work bitch about MDsap audits and shit all the time and its the same thing, people bitching that they cant cut corners and work half-assed at the expense of our clients.

audits suck but people also dont give a fuck unless theres a threat of getting in trouble.

Then let's give them money to keep them alive through the pandemic. But the GOP only uses small businesses and the little people as weapons against Democratic hypocrisy or whatever. You mean the same Democrats that wanted to give money to local/state governments and small business so they could continue to pay employees and whatnot and Republicans either way no or gut all oversight so its a free for all?

Also to answer TC, its because they know their base is low information and will just accept whatever the leaders say without actually researching whether its true or not. Not to say every Republican is low information, but the base of the party is. See; the mask mandates and how the Republican base reacts to it based off what Republican leaders say.

There is nothing sustainable about creating money to give "grants" to keep businesses afloat for a shutdown with no timeframe or real plan in place.

It'll lead to an economic ruin. A ruin you and those like you that have no real accountability to what happens here other than suffering the consequences of it later will turn around and blame on the politicians you wanted to do this bullshit to begin with.
