Technology has come a long way.

It was when I was going to work. It was just pouring all day long. When I got off at 11, it got really cold. In the low 30s. I found my Bluetooth on the ground with the light on, filled with water and had ice on it from the cold weather. I couldnt do anything with it. The light just stayed on as I picked it up and watched water fall out of its charging port. I was going to throw it out but I decided to let it dry out, thaw and die. Sure enough, a few days later, I tried to charge it and it charged fine and it connected to my phone fine.

Things like this always amaze me how far technology has come. This wasnt expensive. It was about $20 and it still worked after all of that. It just seems impossible that it would work

I accidentally took my then-girlfriend's iphone 8 with us, in my trunks, when we went snorkeling. Came out fine when it dried out.

waterproofing has gotten pretty good

i bought my current phone because of the videos they put out of people literally using them underwater

works exactly as advertised too, i did it just to test it, it's not something i would ever really do but yeah

i can use it in the rain without worry and know that if i ever did drop it in water i got nothing to worry about
