Which gift would you give to humanity?

For the sake of this gift, those functions are no longer needed and there are 0 negative effects.

Anyone could still preform these actions if they willed it. But they wouldnt have to if they didnt want to.

Without needed to sleep, so much more could get done.

Without the need to go to the bathroom, millions of people with sanitation issues would be start to be relieved instantly.

It's hardest to imagine life without sleep since that has the most drastic change, but since there's mention of "0 negative effects" that's the obvious choice.

Removing humans' need to remove waste will be better. Surely there would be less disease and sickness in the world and all the various problems bathrooms give us will disappear.

This, unfortunately. Given no negative repercussions I'd choose to get rid of sleep in a heartbeat, but it would inevitably make things so much worse if given to the entire world.

Without sleep we would come to hate even the activities we love most, let alone things we already dislike doing. Sleep refreshes us and gives a fresh feeling to everything we do. Life would be utter misery without it.

If we didnt need sleep then labor laws would be changed drastically to allow employers to work employees more. So many labor laws are based around the need for rest.

Sleep, since it's the most time consuming thing. Shitting is usually done like... Once a day in most cases and it takes 10 minutes. Pissing is also quick.

Pissing and shitting takes up maybe less than an hour or half an hour of your day. If you sleep 8 hours a day, you are spending 1/3 of your life sleeping.

So definitely sleep.

Let me present an alternative.

Everyone gets an Instant Revitalizing Machine (from RPGs like Chrono Trigger and Earthbound) that can give you a full nights rest in a few minutes, or everyone gets underwear that completely eliminates waste without the need for plumbing or cleaning.

I know sometimes I just don't feel like watching movies, listening to music, playing games, going out, etc. And waking up to a new day resets my ability to enjoy things again. It's not a stretch to think that without that psychological reset we'd get bored of shit. I know going to work feels much more tolerable with that reset. Even if I wasn't awake for long between work days, I think it'd feel better than going back to work after being awake for a long time regardless if I never got tired.

I don't care if you disagree, but there's no need to act like an asshole.
