I'm at the part where you have to keep jumping above the flood and I simply can't do it. I died over 100 times just getting to this point; I don't even want to look at the count now smh.

I haven't stayed too current with gaming, instead just going through old favorites every once in a while. I more or less don't play a game unless I've beaten it and know I can again <_<

This game doesn't seem that hard but I feel like my reaction time is just garbage now. This must be how professional fighters feel when they start losing a lot.

That's one of the tougher sections of the game yeah. Keep at it. You'll get there. The more you fail the more you'll know what's coming up ahead.

I was way better at games as a kid aside from Call of Duty.

Now I'm great at Call of Duty. I don't get it.

I've beaten some of the famously difficult 2D platformers but I guess I never noticed all the failures.

Yeah, I'm thinking this is more of a patience/persistence/boredom thing as much as it is the game being difficult. I can rarely settle into a video game these days without thinking of something better to do, even though it's Christmastime in the pandemic and I actually have nothing at all to do <_<

Finally got through it. I'm now at the part where there's another annoying escape. I gave that one try and said eff it, went to bed. Let's see how long before I cry today o_o

Yeah, there are some legit tough parts. And the one hit lasers in certain areas are cheap.

You might want to just move on to the second game. It doesn't really have any frustrating areas like the first. I like it much better all around.

The chase boss battles are legit difficult.

I finished it. All in all, not that difficult of a game. The subsequent chases went a lot better. Did feel a bit short though.

Yeah, it's longer. The world is more fleshed out. There are side quests and actual bosses.

Blind Forest is great, but Will of the Wisps is just an improvement on every possible level.

Never played the first but the second one is really good.

It's difficult at times, but I didn't mind too much given that you can save almost anywhere (minus the chase/escape sequences) and continue fairly quickly.
