Should the family just accept this reduced sentence or should President Trump still push his influence?

The Georgia College Student was hoping to go home for christmas but seems to have ACCEPTED her reduced sentence. A week after the sentence was laid, the Court of Appeals has reduced to just 2 months as her lawyers as Samson Law Associates said "Whilest it was our hope that Skylar would be able to return home to resume her students in January, we accept the decision of the Court and look forward to receiving its written reasons in due course" Her bf, 24 y/o Vanjae Ramgeet was also getting a reduced sentence for aiding in her violation. Her grandmother, Jeanne begged President Trump to intervene in the decision to get her home by Christmas as she went on Fox News to blast the country for making an american girl the first to face such harsh and unreasonable restrictions. She says Skylar knew she made a mistake but it's not a mistake worth 4 months for it.
