I disabled automatic updates via group policy editor a long time ago. Windows is fucking garbage in every conceivable way, but it has the most software support so I guess we're all fucked.

My laptop did an update last week that made the touchpad completely unusable. And not like "oh it just turned it off and you can turn it back on with that button on the keyboard" or even "just roll back the touchpad driver". It full on removed it from even being recognized by the BIOS.
