I was close to calling someone to take me to the ER the other week.I ate a Carolina Reaper with my first bite of food on an empty stomach.

I crawled onto my front porch in the rain and moaned for 20min before I could walk.I was getting such an endorphin rush that I couldn't use my arms or hands to use my phone.

Scared the hell out of me, but about 45min later it stopped feeling like a bear was eating my stomach.

i had to buy a bottle of pepto if i face a situation like that.
can't remember the cause but it was the thanksgiving meal i prepared that caused me to get sick (ate too much).

Yeah, don't eat spicy foods on a completely empty stomach. Prep with something mild first like milk or bread to reduce intestinal distress.

Also, I would recommend against very spicy foods if you have hemorrhoid fissures. Mild hemorrhoids are a painful experience for spicy foods, but more severe cases... Jesus.

Otherwise they are, for all intents and purposes, quite healthy for you.

I had a Carolina Reaper pie the other day. That was really spicy and I bet it wasn't even used with real ones lol.

My brother convinced me to eat one. Lied about what it was. I hadn't eaten anything before then either. My stomach hurt bad for about 15-20 minutes then it was over.
