I used it like twice when I got OG Xbox One then traded it into Gamestop for like $30. Motion controlled gaming never interested me.

my parents bought me one for 360 as a gift (I did not ask for one) and i used it like twice

I used it on the xbox one to control volume and change apps. It was pretty cool. Didn't care about the actual camera shit

I used the voice options and used it to Skype chat. I'd say I put it to good use but a webcam would have been much cheaper

For the voice commands that now alexa does. People shat on it for the camera which killed the potential for the voice commands. Netflix was so much easier to navigate early in the kinect life, especially if you didn't know what you wanted to watch.
