I bought Inquisitor. Messed around with it for the intro then got overwhelmed by the amount of content and stopped.

I messed around with DA1 for a handful of hours. I think I just got occupied by another game at the time.

Never played DA2 because everyone says it sucks.

Should I just hop back into Inquisitor? The Iron Bull guy seems cool

Only Origins is good. The rest are EA garbage.

DAO is one of the greatest games of all time. All time.

DA2 is exceptionally bad as a game, but it has some excellent and compelling writing near the end

DAI is just exceptionally bad. At everything.

Dragon Age 1 is great. Dragon Age 2 is underrated, I loved it, but it does have problems (excessively repetitive dungeon design). Dragon Age Inquisition is a terrible single player MMO.

And seriously, I hate high fantasy. I really, really hate it. But Dragon Age Origins is still one of the greatest games of all time, and definitely in the running for greatest RPG of all time

DA:O is great but the story is pretty campy. had the best characters by far.

DA2 was repetitive trash with a bad story and fairly horrible characters.

DA:I had a better story that stumbled a lot with better characters and combat compared to 2, but played like an MMO if you let yourself get bogged down by side quests.

Dao is great
Da2 is not as bad as people want to say it is, but it is a mediocre game with it's own flaws
Da:I has okay combat, overly fluffed mmo like side content, no memorable characters but an okay story

Origins was an amazing game when it came out. I'm not sure if it still holds up though. 2 has a decent story, good writing, but the combat is sketchy and it reuses environments. Inquistion has better combat than two, a decent story, but also has a ton of dumb MMO style sidequests.

Origins is great and I would recommend that pretty much anyone at least try it. DA2 and DAI are good, but they're not for everyone. DA2 was rushed out in 18 months and noticeably reuses a lot of assets everywhere, and DAI was just too big. Too many pointless sidequests and worlds that take too long to get around.

Origins is great

I just started Inqusition a couple weeks ago, 25 hours in. There is a lot of stuff to do but I mostly just stuck to one zone at a time at first and did a bunch of quests there. There were a couple things I was too low level for, and you get sent back to some zones later on for new quests.

I just killed my first dragon yesterday, it was a pretty epic fight. And my tank uses a big wedge of cheese for a shield.

I couldn't get into 2. Combat felt too clunky. Inquisition can be kinda clunky too since it feels like more of an action game than Origins, but it's at least playable. Melee targeting can be annoying though, as well as trying to move around against a bunch of enemies.

Good to hear. It's been 7 or 8 years since I played it last. Beat it with a City Elf Rogue, Human Wizard, Human Noble Warrior, and Dwarf Noble Warrior.

This. They're great games for me, and I enjoy the stories and characters from all of them. 2 certainly has its issues, but for a game made in under a year it's fantastic. The reuse of environments while not good never bothered me that much.
