Yeah, it can be confusing since its last few years of mainstream relevance were pretty high, depending on who you hung out with as a teen. But that all changed up pretty quick.

There were plans to revive Warped again this year but obviously that didn't pan out. I wouldn't say Warped was a good representation of 'rock' at any point of its existence tho.

Machine Gun Kelly released a Pop Punk album that went number one but many rock fans will tell you that its not real rock and doesnt count. JXDN started making music less than a year ago, has yet to release a debut album, and has plenty of videos on YouTube with millions of views, but again rock fans will tell you that it doesnt count. Rock fans just want the same old stinky bands to stay commercially relevant, then get mad when the same old stinky bands stay commercially relevant. Then find something to get mad about when a new artist doing anything with a guitar comes out. You just cant win.
