I feel like a lot of people in my life prefer crunchy bacon, but I really dont understand that at all. I feel like I get more flavor out of chewier, but not undercooked, bacon.

3 is practically ideal. you have the fatty part still tender and it basically just melts when you bite into it.

'chewy' is the wrong word here.
