You're coming home from work when you stop to get gas. Then suddenly you get a phone call from your wife/husband asking when are you going to get home.

You say you're nearly there and will be home within 10 minutes. She replies "Can't wait" eagerly.

Which feels weird. Why is she calling up on you after work? It's not late. Why does she seem so keen and excited?

Then it hits you, like a dog who finally caught his tail and bit down hard. Today is your wedding anniversary!!!

You promised your wife you would do something really special for her this year but then totally forgot! You have nothing and have planned nothing. Your shirt isn't even clean!

Also to make matters worse you've now told her you're nearly home!

Take her out to dinner at a nice restaurant that won't require a reservation, then we go for a couple drinks at the most regal bar I can think of. We also get dessert. After this, we go on a nice drive and talk about our feelings. I put on her favorite artist. Then I drive to the place we met / some other place that's special to us. While there, I put on our favorite song and we dance to it under the moon light. Then we go home and make sweet passionate love like the night we met.
