Genkai's whole thing was that she was old and needed to find a successor to pass her power onto before she died. She outright gave Yusuke much of her power, leaving her with very little to fight her last matches in the Dark Tournament before her confrontation with Toguro.
Also, as mentioned, YYH's power scales don't compare to DBZ power scales. So I would say that Roshi would win. --- I often wonder if we are growing as a people... or in fact, regressing. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Roshi has more power, but Genkai would win.
Firstly, Genkai isn't stupid enough to stand there and let him fire a full power kamehameha at her. Secondly, when she is channeling her spirit energy she takes on her young pretty form and we all know Roshi can't handle that. If Ranfan can almost beat him, Genkai would bulldoze him. Roshi could win if he wasn't a dipshit, but in-character she is going to pummel him. Especially if this is before she gives away her orb to Yusuke. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Roshi destroyed the fucking moon after an exhausting battle, and this was before he trained and gained strength multiple times so it was the weakest form of Roshi. What similar feats does Genkai have?
