whoa a PS3 platinum remember those?

You know this was sitting in my collection for years and I love PlatinumGames so I don't know why I never got around to playing it until now. I remember playing the demo before release and it was a multiplayer focused beat'em up and I think that aspect just kinda turned me off. Turns out the full game you don't even need to touch the multiplayer and it has a full single player campaign that is effectively a spiritual sequel to MadWorld so I was all in once I really started playing it.

The platinum requires you to

• beat the game 100% on both Normal and Hard difficulties starting from both the white path and the black path
• Complete all free missions on both paths
• Defeat all bosses in rampage and with a Killer Weapon
• Complete the campaign without dying
• Unlock all characters
• Various Kill X amount of enemies doing this action type of trophies
• Defeat both the Kraken and Cthulhu in under 5 minutes

Overall not as difficult as some other PlatinumGames, but still engaging. I wonder if they'll ever revisit MadWorld or Jack Caymen.
