It's honestly up there.

I've been married for almost 11 years now, and the vast majority of our fights over the years have been over deciding what to eat, like in a "you pick"--"I don't want to, you pick" back and forth until we're both hangry lmao

It's different for me because I'm single, but dinner isn't a life altering decision and cooking doesn't expend as much energy as doing the laundry or cleaning the apartment. There are harder things to do.

When this comes up I just pick the same thing. She either agrees or instantly picks something else.

I cook 3-5 nights a week and it's pretty easy. See what ingredients you have and make something with them. Dinner can be any combo of protein and veg and optionally carb. Make extra so breakfast and lunch is handled. If I'm ordering out then I look at my list of restaurants and try something new if I'm feeling adventurous, or get one if my standbys if I want comfort food.

I have a pretty set schedule for food. I shop every Monday and have enough meals planned out to get me to next Monday

Its harder to resist just ordering a pizza when I'm lazy
