Or companies stop selling stuff as limited releases. Wife wanted a special edition my chemical romance makeup for 64 bucks or so that was sold out within the hour. Figured ebay would be the place to find it only to see the cheapest price at around 200! They're fucking everywhere!!

Scalper culture will end as soon as trusted sites like eBay and Amazon agree to not allow 3rd party resales for the first 6 months of a hot product's launch (or indefinitely for limited edition items). Make it so that if they want to scalp, they will have to go sell it on the gray market.
