I actually got one. Bought it on a whim when it was packed in with Mario Kart 8. Everything I own has been ported I think. Except maybe Rodea and Wind Waker HD.

- Kinda expensive for its outdated hardware
- The gamepad wasn't so interesting to me (low battery life also). Yeah, you could get the Pro Controller for many games but it was yet another expense.
- Low third party support

I bought one on a whim, when I saw they came out. I hadn't even known it was coming, I was so out of the loop on Nintendo.

I tried to since my Wii broke, but they were sold out at the time so we just got a new Wii, the black update. I'm glad the Wii U was sold out, ended up being a garbage console where all of its good games just get Switch ports and sequels. No reason to own a Wii U at this point.

I wanted one, in fact I still may get a Wii U just for the Zelda HD games.

At the time when it came out 3DS was getting so much more support and had better options for games. Plus I was playing it much more.

I actually agree with this. Smash 4 and that NES Remix games are the only ones I can think of. Splatoon and Mario Maker don't count because they were remade for the switch.

I did get one. There's no good reason it should have failed as badly as it did. The name was dumb and the primary controller was dumb, but that's about it. Great console with a great library otherwise.
