WR7.... online was faster. I had a Keqing in the team landing 15-20k damage a hit. It was incredible.

Keqing with the 3/3 Festering Desire is basically an event ender. If you really want to speedrun it, use Keqing in combination with a C6 Bennett you can get under 30 seconds easy.

Look in the information board ingame (where you see update info), "Known Issues". There's a bug with hitting the empowered cryo regisvine 10x with the quartz.

And I still don't get why you guys are hyped up for a character who was shown to be the spotlight of another region to come out in 1.3.
1.3 is lunar festival, not Inazuma. The chance of getting Ayaka in 1.3 is slim to none. (And just saying...I thought Ayaka would be in 1.4, but leaks are now pointing to Inazuma still being far away and 1.4 would be festival again)

Ayaka is in the CBT. The chances of us not getting her next patch are pretty low because that would mean they would instead have to give us an untested character instead.

She's also not the Inazuma spotlight. She's just a character from Inazuma. That's like saying Tartaglia is the Sneznhaya spotlight or something. The Inazuma spotlight is going to be Raiden / whatever her fake human name is.

I'm only doing it for my main dps characters and mostly for the chance to upgrade their talents further, the amount of resin for boss runs is just... Diminishing returns at this point. Especially for any support characters. Maybe if there was any content that necessitated multiple level 81+ characters with fully maxed out talents.

Things are finally shaping up for my team. I almost have at least one fully maxed out (constellations notwithstanding) character for every element.

Spent the past 3-4 days marathoning the event since I was too preoccupied with the craziness that is FGO's Christmas lottery and the New Year event wasn't doing me any favors either.

Aside from act 1's grindiness and the repetitiveness of act 4, the actual currency farm wasn't too bad, at least.

But I'd hope new region releases aren't too demanding for attention going forward. Or at least, I don't know why this event couldn't last a week longer if Ganyu still isn't set to come out yet.

Used my resin today to get more mora so I can upgrade another weapon to 90 tomorrow. :3

Unless you're using Xiangling then you should use Crescent Pike on Zhongli as it ends up doing more damage than nearly any other spear in the game.

If you have a Diluc, that's basically the best stop gap unless you're planning to whale for weapons any time soon.

Do his pillars still do damage while he's off the field? I generally would say a weapon that gives crit rate is more valuable, but I know some of them have lower thresholds than others. :/

Yes, but if I ditch Deathmatch I still have 52% crit rate and with Blackcliff my crit damage hits 160%

I do have a Diluc but my other options are Lost Prayers (Klee exists but is unbuilt), Memory of Dust (C2 NingGuang, also unbuilt), The Unforged (Noelle's artifacts kinda suck but she's built level / talent wise. Xinyan is unbuilt)

If they're unbuilt you can just put them on the back burner for a bit longer.

The difference the extra bit of crit rate makes adds up pretty quick if your crit damage isn't 200% or higher. AKA perfect or near perfect sub stats on artifacts.

Farming gemstones is a damn joke for 40 resin. Holy shit. It's gonna take me like 1000 stamina to get 6 gemstones for anyone. I have 4 for Qiqi as it is, and it's crazy how long this is taking because I get what, two slivers and 1 fragment a run? Give me a break.

Took me like 640 for Beidou. Had one single gemstone drop, and three of the ones beneath that. Everything else was just fragments and slivers. :(

Yeah, for me, not as lucky.

Althoughhhhhhh........... I found out that Childe is my clear battle star in the Dvalin fight now. I was able to destroy the thing's shield in one fall, and took me 4 rounds to do it. Man, he's so good. If only I was able to get some Constellations for him though.

<.< Used the 5* food and defeated it in 2 rounds, any time it lands I deal enough damage to make it fall.

Found out that cat loli's elemental burst can lock on to the spike from the ground, which let me heal and deal extra damage the entire duration. <3 Between that, and panda girl's flamey spinny elemental burst I kept racking up plenty more damage than usual. <3

Hmm. I should try with food buffs. Still trying to get a better set for him in that new dungeon. So far, only got one piece that I was satisfied enough with. The farm continues once I can push Qiqi over the 80 mark.

Not sure if I should try to get Albedo to c1 or just hold off. Not really interested in any new characters in the foreseeable updates, so I'm sure I can have enough saved up by the time Cyno or Baizhu start getting closer to release months/years from now. But if there's any surprise banners for repeat characters I'd rather get other constellations.

What really pushes him beyond others is the fact he has like, straight up 100+ base attack more than 4* characters. When calculating with all the equipment bonuses, that adds up. Let's say you aren't running attack main stat gear and have +37% attack from sub stats? That's effectively 137 extra attack just because he's him. :l And yeah the effective cap feels like about 1950 for my 4* characters. Anything past that doesn't add nearly as much as energy recharge for uptime, or element damage up or crit stuff. :l And I'm talking about wr7 stuff. Actually, the difference between 1950 and 2200 on my beidou only really is felt if I have her elemental burst and have Barbara rapid fire normal attacks. :l

I'm sure the soft cap is lower though.

So I dumped Diluc from my team in favor of Fischl, and holy crap my dps went to the next level. From now on Diluc is only on spiral abyss and mining duty.

Also depends on your talent levels. I just do support Fischl with Oz supplementing damage. Keqing is just full on a main dps, it's the one role she excels at compared to her support potential. Heck, the ideal party tends to just be a main dps, a true support (shields and/ or heals), person you swap to just to trigger reactions, person you only switch in to use cooldowns and then off right after until they're up again and needed.

Fischl can be a main dps even at c0, it just requires making sure you have the right party to support her. And given the slot she was filling instead of building a party around her, it makes sense she wasn't as good.

Meanwhile even against ice immune enemies I get more value off ice kitty's healing elemental burst because I can use her shields in the meantime to stall out with damage reduction until the next burst. Better than getting frozen because Barbara. :l

Oh, and for that fischl build I'm just playing off of her attack stat for the % based effects with Oz and her elemental burst. So. ^^

you're right. chong is my main dps on my main team. but diluc has better stats just because. it's kind of ridiculous.
