Some people chalk it up to nostalgia, but there are plenty of movies I watched when I was a kid that I watch now and go "how did I enjoy this?" TMNT (1990) just gets better every time I watch it. The balance of comedy and seriousness, the dark undertones, it's probably my favorite comic book movie. ... Copied to Clipboard!

As a kid, I knew immediately that this dude was the real deal when the turtles couldn't even land a hit (except for Leonardo). The whole movie, the turtles were kicking ass and joking while doing it, and here the Shredder was just toying with them. ... Copied to Clipboard!

this was the first movie a saw in a theater and i still remember floating around in that dark scene not really understanding it but being wrapped up in it. quite the intro to cinema for a 4 year old. the movie could just as easily been a pos

Its amazing how different the movie was from what most knew the turtles as being, and it was still awesome. So beautifully done.
