I've played: Bloodborne, Divinity: Original Sin 2, Persona 5, and The Witcher 3.
Bloodborne, Divinity: Original Sin 2, and The Witcher 3 are great, but Persona 5 is trash. --- The pamphlet on First Life contains 93 lies and 7 truths. The truths don't provide any answers. ... Copied to Clipboard!

lame story and characters, archaic combat mechanics, poor pacing, and a repetitive gameplay loop. I liked its music and presentation, though. --- The pamphlet on First Life contains 93 lies and 7 truths. The truths don't provide any answers. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I loved Divinity OS2, but honestly OS1 is like a 7 at best.

Crashlands was a nice surprise of a game - one of the few mobile-first games I actually enjoyed.

So we're counting action games with RPG elements?
I'm a bit miffed there is no mention of Darkest Dungeon. Terrible list but I play different games so meh. --- "He busted in, blessed be the Lord Who believe any mess they read up on a message board" -MF DOOM ... Copied to Clipboard!

So we're counting action games with RPG elements? I don't know if I'd call Darkest Dungeon an RPG, though. It has upgradeable stats and equipment, but for your people who can potentially die at the drop of a hat, not you yourself. I'd say it's honestly closer to Sim City management-style than an RPG. --- Posted with GameRaven 3.6.0_B3 ... Copied to Clipboard!

Moreso than a game like say, the Witcher 3 or Bloodborne, which are action-adventure games with stats. --- "He busted in, blessed be the Lord Who believe any mess they read up on a message board" -MF DOOM ... Odin sphere Middle hope posted... Odin Sphere was the bomb diggity I enjoyed Odin Sphere a lot, but am I really the only one who felt it was padded with too much backtracking? Maybe backtracking isnt the right word, but redoing areas, even if it was with a different character, was not entirely fun. Corrupt_Power posted...
