If you like side quests, then watch The Mandalorian. But Friday Night Lights is a better show imo.

Friday Night Lights was good but the second and third seasons are a bit of a hiccup because the writers strike happened during them which causes some plot lines between the two seasons to get cut short (or completely abandoned).
