Bidens campaign announced last week that he would need to wear a walking boot, explaining that hed fractured his foot while playing with one of his dogs. In a Thursday CNN interview, the 78-year-old statesman revealed the peculiar details of the incident. What happened was I got out of the shower and [a] little pup dropped a ball in front of me, Biden said, adding that the dog apparently wanted Biden to grab the ball. And I grabbed the ball like this and he ran, Biden continued. The former vice-president then said he jokingly ran after the dog and grabbed his tail, which caused it to slide on a throw rug. And I tripped on the rug he slid on. Thats what happened, Biden concluded. Oh man, not a very exciting story.

Haven't heard a BS story this bad since the original Melissa Benoist eye injury story.

my theory based on nothing is that he fell like many people nearing 80 do, but it would be a bad look to remind people that they just elected a doddering old man as potus so they made up this story where hes still the kind of guy that runs and plays with his dog

He had a fall like many elderly people do but they had to come up with a ridiculous story to keep appearances up. Instead of coming off as frail hes comes off as stupid. We can have stupid Presidents, we have one right now. We just cant have someone frail as our leader.

I just installed a pimp ass walk in shower. Huge oversight, only way I can wash my dog now is to shower with him otherwise water would get everywhere. Definitely one of the top 10 most awkward moments for me, like even he knows it's weird af lol

This is also an exaggerated version of the story already being twisted. Not satisfied with the weird enough "grabbing" of the tail, he decides to replace it with a whole different action that instead of a weird action that matters with missing context, he went with a verb that is far more extreme wnd leaves no room to be cleared up through attention context. A yank is completely different than a grab. You guys are literally fake news lol. If you guys had a news outlet, you'd he changing verbage and bending stories to try to manipulate your audience.

This is more believable than anything else. But still a theory. The story as it is kind of shines a light on his age regardless, but they could of put extras on it to make him seem not as fragile.
