Maybe idk i never owned a dog Anyways bathroom isolation is going better than expected basically. I thought i would hear crying all night, but silver is the most easygoing cat i have ever met. She really tolerates everything. She loves the vet, she doesn't mind being put in the bathroom i guess. You can literally 'abuse' her to heart's content and she will probably likes it. I used her tail to tickle her face, i tap on her butt or rolle her over and tickle her belly she just enjoys it it seems. Rivel is the shy, delicate flower. You must treat her like a princess or antique china lol. That's why this isolation works well. Yesterday rivel showed some signs of stress. Won't come near me, won't sleep in her usual place because silver is within sight. Now i know silver can take it, the isolation period would work to get them acquainted with each other's smell and voices. Silver can still panic if she sense aggression or something really scares her, like rivel growling at her or maybe very loud noises, hence last week's escape. Rivel becomes more anxious even though i already isolated them, plus it's starting to get unfair to the kitten because i started paying so much attention to rivel becuase of her anxiety. It's kinda stressing me out too. Would it be bad is i just act as foster and start searching for potential adopter? apolloooo 12/16/20 10:27:03 AM #88:	Rivel not eating seems to be caused by weird batch of canned food? i am not sure, but i tried bunch of other food and a new can. She seems to be eating almost normally now. It was just a weird situation. I tried to isolate the cause as best as i can. Tried to take the kitten outside the house when she eats, changing the plate, food temperature, like the past 2 days i have to hand feed rivel to get her to eat. Today she's eating normally, which is good but i am still wondering what the cause really was. Right now, by elimination it seems something is weird with the last can. It's not bad, i even ate a spoonful. It isn't sour or smell bad, but might be something off that cats sense of smell can detect. Also don't stress yet about the introduction (I definitely wouldn't look for another owner) as I've heard it can take a while for cats to tolerate each other.
