Emily Bauer, a Texas Waitress received a $2000 tip from a customer and has blasted her boss for failing to pass that money on to her!!

She has been working at Red Hook Seafood and Bar in San Antonio for 2 weeks before she got the enormous gratuity from an unidentified male

The mother of 2 was blown away by the cheque and it has a merry christmas message too

She said "I just opened it and started crying, i was like, oh my god my kids! i'm going to spend it all on my kids. I've ever had a Christmas where i've been able to like splurge on them"

But her joy turned to sadness then anger when she failed to get the bonus

She said her bosses told her that they couldn't process tips of more than $500 and that other servers supported her and asked them to process the tip amount in four separate payments so she could get 2000 but they declined.

Emily says "Everybody i've talked ot has been like, i've never heard of that before. If it's left to you and signed by that person, then you should be able to get it"

But the bosses offered a different story and said "Let me say the gentleman's card would not let us post the tip. We tried multiple times, Vist could not force a $2000 tip on his card, it was invalid then later declined. We cano not charge a card $500 four times, it's impossible and fraud. The gentleman called after he left that evening asking if Emily would bea ble to receive her tip he was told by management that the tip would NOT process and if he could come by & pay her in cash or a cheque written out to her, he said ok and then hung up quickly"...

Now the restaurant is hounded by abuse and the incorrect story has hurt their business and showed a picture that only the 69.01 was taken out.

An employee told dailymail that ZERO CUSTOMERS came in since the bad publicity as her story has now hurt their business

Awful situation really. She does deserve the $2,000 tip, but it seems like the bank is the one stopping it, not management.
