I can check the Nest app on my phone to see if they are properly dressed like the deputies in my area. I can also talk to them through the same app without having to approach the door.

I can look out the front window and verify, and then yes I'm fine with it. It's a small community and our town has like 5 cops total and I know all of them fairly well, mostly because of fishing.
