Around the time Dark Souls came out. I'm playing Demon's Souls PS5 right now and this shit is easy so far. The only difficult boss for me was the spider. I'm still not very far tho (6 bosses down) but magic makes this game cake. Still extremely fun and more fun than I had playing Dark Souls tbh.

Yeah that's how its feeling so far at least. I've only played Dark Souls and some Bloodborne but Bloodborne was way harder than this. I just remember people really playing up the difficulty of this game.

The remake was made for casuls

Some of the regular bad guys put up more of a fight than the bosses. The Adjudicator, Fool's Idol, Leechmonger were all jokes. Tower Knight was fun tho.

Magic is extremely unbalanced in Demons. Without magic the levels are harder than Dark Souls but the bosses are easier.

the only real difficultly in this game, in relation to the others, is that there's only one checkpoint between bosses.

there's another way to make the game more difficult, though, and that's by continually dying while in body form in a stage.

when you reload it, it'll eventually become "pure black world tendency", and the enemies hit harder, and you also encounter black phantoms.

it's good for some unique weapons/armors, but so is pure white world tendency.

you should look those up if you're a completionist

I'm not a completionist, if anything I'm the exact opposite lol, but I have a feeling I'll be playing this through a few times with one of my friends. Might get to the point where we'll do everything. The tendency stuff is still lost on me but I have pure white in the 2nd world without even trying.

I forget how many you have to kill for it to be pure white, though.
