I'm talking about proper cheese. Not the kraft green tube Parm or bagged shredded mozz. It's honestly a travesty how much inferior those kinds of "cheeses" are.

Smoking anything is bad for your health--there are much better options now especially with the largely legal market. Plus, for you ignorant fools out there, my user name is Greek for India. Ever smoke your own cheeses? If you have a smoker, it's super easy to do and way better than store bought smoked cheese. This is the perfect time to do it too since the temp is getting low enough that if your smoker is outside it doesn't push it past the melting point.

Smoked queso dip is baller as fuck too.

tldr version:

Real smoked foods are potentially bad for you. But even then, eating them once in awhile should be safe. Liquid smoke flavorings like in BBQ sauces, you'll have to consume several bottles(Probably a dozen. Hope you're thirsty) in one sitting for it to be potentially bad.

Interesting, I learned something new here. I have a smoker so most stuff I eat that is smoked like fish and meat I do myself. I never smoked cheese, but knowing this now I may try it.
