Board 8 > Well this is only my second weirdest Thanksgiving of the last 2 years.

Not sure if anyone remembers but my grandpa died in the morning last Thanksgiving. Caused a big change of plans and a very strange day, to say the least.

But it was also a sense of relief as my grandpa had spent a couple years requiring an increasing amount of caretaking, to the point most of 2019 was spent at home taking care of him. Spent a lot of time shut in the house. So when he finally passed away the feeling was "ok it sucks but get all the repercussions from this settled and then enjoy actually getting to go outside a bunch in 2020". 2020 was going to be awesome, I was going to do stuff. It didn't matter what, it was just going to be stuff that was outside of the house, probably a lot of theme parks.

Well, oops.
