I suppose if it's a minuscule problem, it would probably depend on the odds of it resolving itself vs developing into a worse problem, or if it seems unlikely to do either, I could go on ignoring it until I didn't have anything better to do.

Gross! I've done that before though. Smashed my toenail and had to wait until the new toenail pushed the dead one off.

I hope that'll happen. Bashed it on the washer.

It should. Just give it some time. It looks like the healthy part is already pushing it off. Maybe go see a doctor though. You don't want it to get infected.

As for my answer to the topic, it really depends on the problem. If it really is miniscule then I will probably just ignore it. Unless it is one of those things that I know will get worse if I don't do anything.

I try to avoid doctors during these times. Went for my ears to be flushed though as I was almost deaf. Still Toenails do take a long time to grow so we shall see.

I'm surprised it was your big toe whenever it happens to me it's always the middle pos that takes the brunt of the trauma.

On topic though months even for more serious things I don't tend to bother... Damaged the rotor cuff in my left shoulder back in March didn't bother getting it checked out just tolerated the pain and limited arm movement for a few months

So weird that you say that. I am literally standing in the bathroom with my girlfriend as she is trying to use an earwax removal kit because she can't hear out of one ear.

Nope would take a pair of needle nose pliers to that.

I tried eardrops and they did nothing but docs said I had to use it for two weeks and then phone back. I did and then they booked me in. The job took five minutes at most to flush my ears. I'm not sure if you've had that but it's like a drill sound in your ear but it's painless and it unclogged the wax very quick as it's water. It turns out not only was wax in my ears but dead skin and dust too. Sounded gross.

My girlfriend said she has had her ears flushed before. She is considering going to the doctor if this removal kit doesn't help. I've never had my ears clogged that bad before. Once I did have a bug fly into my ear and get lodged in there. I could feel and hear it crawling around. It freaked me out. My coworker helped me flush it out with some water.

Yikes. Thankfully nothing like that has been lodged in my ears. Ear wax removal is quick by the docs so it's worth considering. Hopefully that isn't needed though and the kit works for your girl.
