My brain's fucking fried. My youtube history is just loaded with reviews. I gotta just stop. I'm horribly indecisive when it comes to making decisions like this.

Multiple Asus Zephyryses, Eluktronics Max 17, MSI GP75, Alienware M17 R3s and a fuck ton of others, but those were the ones I spent the most time looking into. Now I'm just like "Do I really neeeed 240Hz?"

No not really. I'm running 2 144Hz monitors and 3 75 Hz's and ill be honest i can't really tell the difference

go overkill on the cooling no matter what

i've bought some pretty reputable laptops that still crapped out on me after only a couple years because the "safe" high-normal temps caught up to them

I just got a zephyrus. Not high end but still.

I like it so far.

Its loud when gaming but to my knowledge thats normal for mq laptops.

What i do like is even though the center of the keyboard gets a bit warm, its

A. only if you place your palm on it, its significantly cooler if its just a finger press.

B. Left section stays cool, incl wasd.

I've got a Lenovo 740y and I quite like it. Just look up undervolting and gaming laptops are fine.

Asus is GOAT. Dont buy anything else.

Id be a bit careful with HP: They have good sound for sure, but the 2 ive had started acting wonky after a few years. I dont know what. It could be the storage, it could be ram, or GPU, but they got slow fast.

Also, the Pavillion i had, had the fan located top left....

Imo Alienware is not worth it anymore as it usually more expensive than others. I would go with an Asus.

That alienware is probably gonna classify as a desktop replacement.

And that second one.. dear god does that look like the one i just got. Intel CPU isntead of AMD and it doesnt say anything about Nvidia optimus, or Max Q.

I have a feeling it is the Max Q variant though. So do keep that in mind.

Idk if the higher MQ laptops are louder than the lower ones.
