That's what I think too, the weapons charges are the most cut and dry.

The shooting occurred while he was laying on the ground with people trying to wrestle the gun away from him. Any competent defense attorney could make a case for self defense based on that fact.

His friend will be seeing way more prison time than Kyle. The weapon charges are the most they'll get Kyle on.

Also it seems like he was getting unemployment. Dependants were only eligible for a $500 stimulus, which went to the parents, so that wasn't it.
