Guess I pushed down too hard and got the monitor arm stuck on the pole and pushing and twisting seem to have no effect

Loosen those bolts. I set up a shit load of those at work before. Either that or bash the hell out of it with a hammer.

They wont loosen. I tried the included Allen wrenches and they dont budge an inch. Also Im pretty sure its missing parts or theyre not cut right. Filing for my money back tomorrow

That happens. Sometimes they fuck up. If you have a power drill put the allen wrench in that and slowly turn it on. Other than that, bash the shit out of it with a hammer and then return it with a note saying "someone bashed the shit out of it with hammer?"

You can even try using a pair of pliers to twist the head of the middle nut but I dunno how finicky thatll be

Sometimes if it doesn't loosen, you can paradoxically see if it will tighten and then loosen it back from there.

Maybe remove the two hex heads on the sides. It looks like they might be putting pressure on the piece you're trying to loosen.
