Physical version is on sale right now at Best Buy and Amazon, but Amazon won't have it in stock until December 30.
Season pass is worth $25 right? So you get the full game plus all the dlc for the price of a standard new retail game. That being said, I've only played a handful Fire Emblem games. I played a little of the 2 GBA ones. Shadow Dragon on the DS. Awakening (which I greatly enjoyed) Fates (but I got stuck trying to min-max skills and max supports so I never finished any route) So how is the new game? I heard that it might be the best the series was, but others say it's worse than Awakening. Heck yes. It's great. I'm playing Awakening right now. I feel like they are hard to compare. They are different but both great.

hell yeah, easily my fav fire emblem game, coming from someone who likes awakening and the older style tiles, its so good

It was my first Fire Emblem game and I thought it was mediocre but if you liked the other games I'm sure you'll be fine. $35 is probably the lowest that you'll ever find a new first party Nintendo game

Best in the series for sure.
DLC not totally worth it. Definitely buy it, it's a great game even at full price and the ost is amazing as well. Tons of content and the difficulty is well balanced for newbies or people wanting a challenge.
