currently the concerns are

  1. they honestly believe the election was stolen
  2. there's this growing backlash to tech companies because [something something], i'm not really sure what the outward talking point is but what i am sure of is the real root of it is they're mad that tech pays a lot but you need to go to school and move to a city for it

Its literally the most accessible field with basically all learning available open source and fewer barriers to entry compared to most industries

yeah, i'm pretty stupid and would like to actually make something of myself someday so it bothers me that i can't wrap my head around programming. i was decent enough in the few courses i took, even surprised myself a little. it got too abstract for me and i couldnt pass the math courses so i just said fuck it

but yeah i agree with the core of your post

I always start off well but then hit a wall when it goes past just following instructions, when creativity and logic are required
